Charles Oldroyd 

Charles has been part of the vintage VW scene for almost 40 years from the days of VW Action at Stoneleigh through managing the Concourse at the Detling Spring Festival to being Chairman of the Cabriolet Club and the Historic Volkswagen Club. In that time he has restored two 6v convertibles and two split screen vans. His current project is a nut and bolt restoration of a November '47 export beetle which will make its show debut in 2020.


Rob Amos

Rob has been a Volkswagen enthusiast since owning his first Beetle at the age of 16 and is currently restoring a vintage Beetle convertible. Rob lauched back in October 1999. Twenty years later, it has grown to be one of the most popular website catering solely for un-modified Vintage VW's. The website has a loyal following of vintage enthusiasts from around the world, many of whom are keen to bring their cars to Lavenham to take part in the show.



Seb Swindells

I am a life long, born and bred vintage Volkswagen enthusiast. We eat sleep and drink old VW’s. As well as working on our own small collection, of a few, early beetles, and buses etc, we are also crazy about collecting genuine vintage VW and dealership Memorabilia and lots of other old VW related collectibles too.

We run the which is an online and VW swapmeet  based Vintage VW Parts Shop and specialise in selling many rare or New Old Stock 1940’s - 50’s and 60’s air-cooled VW parts and Accessories. We sell our rare and vintage parts all over the world on a daily basis.

We are very proud and excited to be responsible for the historic VW Swapmeet at Lavenham 2020.
