The Lavenham International Vintage Volkswagen Meeting displays are for vehicles in standard (stock) condition built before August 1967. Period accessories will be welcome but strictly NO overtly lowered suspension, alloy or wide wheels, or other obvious modifications.

Participants will be required to pre-register their vehicles via this website, or by post prior to the Meeting and a current photograph of each vehicle must be included to confirm that the vehicle fits the criteria of the show. Details are on the form. No entries will be accepted on the day with no exceptions.

Should your Volkswagen not meet the criteria for the vintage display, don't worry! Please still bring it along as there will be a marshalled Volkswagen only parking area immediately adjacent to the sports arena display and trade area with a small parking fee payable on the day.

Due to the limited capacity of the hall for the Saturday evening function, we are accepting vehicle registrations both with and without reception/meal tickets and are offering both adult and child meals with a menu choice.  However, if you want a vegetarian/vegan meal, it must be stated when you book. Note for allergy sufferers: As this is a buffet style meal, we cannot guarantee that all dishes do not contain any food allergen or will not be cross-contaminated as all meals will be prepared in a single kitchen.

This is not a concourse event and all vintage Volkswagens are welcome from concourse to daily driver condition.  However, applications for customised or lowered vehicles will not be accepted.

Eligible Vehicles
Beetles to Aug 1957 including Hebmullers, Karmann Type 1 Convertibles, Kübelwagens/Schwimmwagens and specials.

Type 2 vehicles (all models) to August 1967 including ‘Barndoors’.

All other Beetles, Type 3s, Karmann Ghias to August 1967.

Evening Reception

Evening reception includes a quality hot main course with a selection of salads and a choice of desserts, prepared locally. All meals must be pre-booked.

Vehicle + All Passengers (not including Saturday Evening Reception/Meal): £25
Saturday Evening Reception and 1 Adult Meal: £25 (cash bar)
Saturday Evening Reception and 1 Child Meal: £15
